Lawn Legend is a free browser game. This page explains exactly what data the game stores, where it goes, and how to remove it. Short version: no accounts, no ads, no tracking SDKs, and we never sell data.
Data stored on your device
The game saves progress in your browser's local storage: game state (money, day, equipment, achievements), sound and tutorial preferences, and a randomly generated anonymous player ID. This data never leaves your device except as described below, and clearing your browser data for this site deletes all of it.
Cloud saves
To let you resume on another device, the game backs up your save (game state plus the name you entered) to our database (Supabase, hosted in the United States), keyed only by your random anonymous ID. It is not linked to your identity, email, or any account.
Global leaderboard (opt-in)
If you choose to join the rankings, the display name you pick and your scores (valuation, jobs, best combo, fastest-to-$100k, prestige level) are publicly visible to other players. Tapping "leave" in the Rankings tab removes your entry from the public leaderboard immediately.
Email (optional)
If you choose to subscribe, we store your email address along with your player name and basic progress stats, and use it only to send gameplay tips and weekly challenges. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, or you can email us to be removed.
Challenge links
When you share a challenge link, the link itself contains the player name you chose, your day count, and your score — anyone you send it to can see those. Nothing else is included.
Hosting
The game is served by Vercel, which keeps standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and operations, like nearly every website. We run no analytics or advertising scripts.
Children
Lawn Legend is suitable for general audiences and collects no personal information beyond what is described above. If you believe a child has submitted an email address, contact us and we will delete it.
Deleting your data
- Local save: use "New Game" in the game, or clear this site's browser data.
- Leaderboard entry: open Rankings and tap "leave" — the public row is deleted.
- Cloud save or email: contact us with your request and, for cloud saves, the device you played on; we will delete the record.
Changes & contact
If this policy changes, the effective date above will be updated. Questions or deletion requests: mrdudesblog@gmail.com.
